This is a genuine fossil that will have damages/repairs. Allot of Moroccan trilobites are sometimes painted/coated in a black polish/paint to hide any blemishes this is not done to deceive anyone it is done to conceal grey patches where they have repaired the fossil. It is down to personal preference if you’re happy with this and is also reflected in the price of the fossil.
